Can a girlfriend who is an experience programmer have the ability (with access) to be able to screw with me?

Appearantly as (C.E.) stated my GF who is an experienced programmer and did have access to my system by herself... and if she wanted to, could she (from a remote location) systematiclly pull up messenger profiles, deleting all contacts except for her? Could she remove herself from my friends list on MYspace?


She said she couldn't do any of that (and claims she wouldn't) and recommended that I ask here for piece of mind..


Could she have been doing it to check up on me or simply out of spite?

Probably. Did she know any of your common passwords? Changing a MySpace page is easy if you can log into that person's account. All she would need to know is your email address and password.





Do you have logmein or GoToMyPc installed on your computer? These are free programs that allow you to access your computer from anywhere. If that was installed, she could, again, log in using your email and a password (if she knows it).

Reply:I don't know specifically what she could do, but she could screw with you. I could edit your registry and make your life hell and I'm not that good of a programmer.
